Saturday was the perfect weather for an engagement session at La Placita and El Presidio, and Stephanie and Mike were up for walking all over the place looking for just the right lighting and just the right background. We had a great time, and I was excited that they were into trying out our new tandem bicycle for a couple of them. I can't wait for their wedding in October! Add Comment Baby Ry is such a cutie. Just barely starting to pull himself up, I was afraid he'd crawl away on a few of these, but I managed to get a few of those adorable little teeth. April Flowers 04/17/2012

So we've been out walking and hiking as much as we can (which unfortunately, is not as much as I'd like), especially since the arrival of a new lens with a little extra zoom. This little bird was impressed with it. The flowers, maybe not so much, but I was impressed with them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The University campus over the holidays turned out to be a beautiful place for this engagement photo shoot with Emma & Andrew. I had a great time wandering around looking for good spots with them, and they were great models. I can't wait for their wedding in June! Here is another Christmas card photo shoot. This time of gorgeous little Sena, whom you might remember from when she was a newborn, and a 6 month photo shoot in yellow aspen leaves. She was quite the cooperative little model, posing with a very cheesy fake smile. What a handful this little one is! I had a fun time chasing her around to get these. I can hardly believe it's time for Christmas card photos! Here is the Hastings family, with one member added since the last time I photographed them. We had a good time wandering around the Tucson zoo looking for pretty bamboo backgrounds. Where we've been... 11/20/2011
You may have noticed that we've been a bit absent from this blog lately. There's a very good reason... we have a brand new baby! (actually, he's already six weeks old now, but we're finally getting back in the swing of things) So, here are a few photos of our sweet new baby boy. When Erika called me last month she said that she and her fiancee were planning to elope before the birth of their baby. They wanted to have a small ceremony, and then a wedding/maternity portrait session. As it turned out, it was a ceremony and a wedding/newborn portrait session. It was fun getting to photograph this impromptu ceremony, and what a beautiful baby boy! Thank you Erika and Pedro for letting me be part of your special evening. |
